Yingxi Pavilion was such a great experience! It is beautifully designed and set right at the foothills of the mountains so had a great feel to it. The breakfast is also definitely worth it. Most importantly, the owner went above and beyond to help us when we got into a spot of trouble so we felt very taken care of and appreciated that! Would recommend friends stay here.

The owners Lily and Hao were incredibly hospitable and kind. My husband and I did not have a car so they picked us up from Xincheng station and also dropped us off on our last day. They showed us where the bus was to Taroko National Park and they looked after us impeccably and perfectly. Lily brought us the most delicious breakfast every morning and they catered exceptionally for my vegetarian needs. The guesthouse itself is beautiful and very clean, as well as being extremely cosy and relaxing. Our room was the perfect size and the bed was so comfortable. Everything was very clean and decorated tastefully. We loved every second of our time there and will gladly go back! The location was also perfect for both Taroko National Park and for the beach, which we also visited.

Particularly enjoyed the welcome song and learning about the indigenous people. He was also very helpful with restaurants. He has bikes that can be used for free. We cycled to Taroko park and to restaurants everyday. Teyra also lined us up with a great tour guide to get a thorough tour of Taroko Park. Finally, he picked us up and took us back to the train station. Fantastic visit.

The B&B is in the perfect location. It’s surrounded by 700 coffee trees and lush green mountains. There are flowers and all sorts of plants growing in the garden, and plenty of seating to enjoy the tranquility. The rooms are spacious and there is a great communal area where you are served homemade coffee and also get to meet other guests.

The room was comfortable and cozy. The breakfast room was beautiful and the hostess was super helpful and friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer.
