I also didn't find the noise too loud in my room like many reviews said, maybe it depends on the room. Across the road from Ark Bar, a few minutes' walk from Lub-D hostel, so the absolute perfect location if you're in Chaweng to party. I had to get a new iphone so did end up walking to the shopping centre but that was only max 20 minutes so also very easy to get to. Otherwise, everything was right there, no taxis needed. A billion restaurants right nearby - suggest going to the less busy ones because some of them get packed and then it's hard to get a tables/served. Convenience store across the road. Everything. Very modern and clean room. Entrance down the alley way to the drag show.

Excelente ubicación si buscas vida nocturna y paseos de compra diurnos. Para disfrutar de la playa no es Chaweng el lugar de la isla que debes buscar. Dicho ello, el hotel Regent es una obra de arte. Su estilo es único: cabañas selváticas dentro de un hotel resort. Lo recomiendo una y mil veces.

We loved everything about this hotel. The room was exactly how it looked in the photos, our pool was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. The Christmas party was so much fun and the hotel was decorated beautifully. On a really practical note the location was great for getting to other places on the island and the buffet breakfast was incredible. Obviously we would go back in a heartbeat.
