MacKenzie Country Hotel is located in Twizel, in the heart of the Aoraki Mount Cook and MacKenzie Country Region. It offers modern rooms with picturesque views of the surrounding mountains. The property is very well maintained even though is not new. The front desk is very helpfull. Good location.

The Heritage Gateway Hotel is situated in Omarama, at the crossroads of MacKenzie Basin, Lindis Pass and Waitaki Valley. It offers panoramic views and excellent hiking and biking opportunities. Hot breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip to New Zealand. Can’t say enough how great the staff was!

The Rest is set in Twizel and features a tennis court. With quiet street views, this accommodation provides a patio. Very nice unit with everything you need. Very clean. There was also a bbq for grilling. Convenient location.

Well equipped. Great bed. Patio chairs to sit outside in the sunshine. Very quiet so great night’s sleep.

Situated by Lake Pukaki on a hilltop, Pukaki Lakeside Getaway NZ features panoramic views of Mt Cook and the surrounding farmlands. It is a 30-minute drive from Lake Tekapo and offers free WiFi. The views are really stunning.. Clear check in instructions, easy to drive. A quiet but cozy place, beautiful sunrise and night sky. The bed and sofa is comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped.

Quail Rest is located on Totara Peak Station which is a working High Country Station situated on the shores of Lake Benmore 22kms from Twizel township. Free WiFi and private parking is included. Great place, excellent location

Great location for numerous outdoor activities. Shops & restaurants a short drive away. Outstanding hosts. Would be very happy to stay here again.
