The location is excellent, just in front of the station. My room was spacious and beautiful. I got the chance to interact with the staff a lot throughout my stay. They were all extremely friendly and not shy about speaking English. Though a bit pricey, I did like the breakfast buffet and the conbini on the first floor is very convenient. I forgot some items and the staff dutifully retrieved them for me and mailed them to my home. It was an excellent stay, probably one of the best hotels I’ve been in in Japan.

To get to the hotel, you will go over a bridge, across Kitakami river, and the scenery is just spectacular. The area is very central with a lot of restaurants and shops. The room size is good compared to other hotels in Japan. I love breakfast here too.

La localización es muy buena, cerca de la estación y del parque de Iwate. La habitación está limpia y el baño, impoluto con los amenities a tu disposición. Cuenta con un conbini adosado. The amenities are great, the staff friendly, polite, and extremely accommodating. The food is outstanding - generous portions, extraordinary variety and really fresh as a lot of it is grown in the hotel garden. The location is a little out of Hiraizumi but it doesn’t matter - there’s a shuttle, and the location is serene and beautiful. Also the onsen is amazing!
