This family-run hotel is found along the Ring Road/Route 1, 14 km outside Akureyri. It offers a hot tub, sun terrace and views of Eyjafjördur. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Comfy beds, beautiful location, clean room, great amenities (pool table, hot tub, infrared sauna etc), the viewing deck was perfect to watch the aurora! The host was so hospitable. Highly recommend!!

This hotel is on Akureyri’s main street, Hafnarstraeti, less than 2 km from Akureyri Airport. It offers en-suite guest rooms, free parking and views of the Eyjafjörður fjord. Husavík is 90 km away. Cool funky room, the record player was fun , good sized shower, staff/owner were super helpful and really added to our experience we loved our breakfast, free mini bar it was a nice touch
