Located next to Hlemmur Square, this hotel is just off Laugavegur, the main shopping street in Reykjavík. It offers a view over the city and Esja Mountain. Amazing comfy hotel with great staff. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel are well done and the location is perfect for those renting a car. Easy to get out of the city from that location to tour the golden circle etc.

Set an 8-minute drive from central Reykjavik, this hotel offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. Kringlan Shopping Centre is 1 km away. This is an excellent place to stay in Reykjavik. We had a lovely room, spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated - just like the rest of the hotel really. The style is very modern and warm at the same time. We slept in excellent comfortable and snug beds with really soft sheets, and we trully enjoyed the nice shower and coffee facilities in the room. The morning breakfast was lovely, with homemade cakes, smoked salmon and lots of other Icelandic delicacies. Also here, the owners prove they have an eye for detail serving breakfast in beautiful tea cups, plates and cutlery. The owner is very welcoming and friendly and helpful, and gave a number of useful suggestions for visiting the city. She makes you feel at home right away. Upon arrival, we also enjoyed some tea and home made chocolate cake which makes you relax right away. Location is close to the main shopping street, not far from the large parc and easily reachable from the airport as well. Free parking onsite was handy and wifi was of good quality. We would certainly recommend staying here.

Super friendly staff. Hard working cleaning crew and breakfast staff. Lots of yummy choices at breakfast. Loved the kitchy decor. Loved big windows overlooking lake. Comfy beds. Hot hot tub. Beautifully updated bathroom. Nice welcome touch leaving chocolates for us. Lovely lobby areas to hang out and enjoy the view.

Set on a square behind Reykjavík Cathedral and the Icelandic Parliament, this hotel offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi access and Nespresso coffee machines. Lake Tjörnin is 1 minutes’ walk away. Staff are so fabulous. Mat checked us in. He was so professional yet friendly and charming. Such a welcome to the hotel. We could store luggage and were able to check in a little early.
