This hotel proved to be a wonderful choice for my short visit to Udaipur. The property is modern, spotlessly clean and in a very nice area, just a short tuk tuk ride to the Old City. My room 504 was quiet and spacious, comfy bed, great large TV screen, lovely ensuite with lovely shower and plenty of hot water. I had a wonderful breakfast each morning on the 10th Floor Restaurant FIRKI which has spectacular views of the city. Food is plentiful and fresh, with great selection and good coffee. I had Dinner in FURKI on three evenings - vegetarian menu with plenty of options. Hotel has embraced technology in a big way - for example menu is obtained by scanning qr code on table - but staff happy to assist the non-techies like myself. Speaking of the staff - the entire team at FIRKI were exceptional - a great team of friendly and helpful staff, without exception, they are a credit to the hotel, always smiling and happy to chat to guests and assist in any way possible. There is also a rooftop Bar/Restaurant TARO which looks spectacular but I did not get a chance to try. Finally I have to thank the Receptionists Harshika and Akash, who were warm, friendly, smiling and helpful at all times - from the moment I arrived to departure. The only small issue I had during my stay was trying to use AC in room - the engineer did attend to assist me - system seems to be controlled centrally rather than from room - however, overall room temp was fine. Thank you to all the staff at Parallel Hotel for a lovely stay - your staff are a credit to you and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to family and friends.

Un magnífico hotel para una imprescindible ciudad si visitas el Rajasthan. Hotel nuevo con una arquitectura espectacular, un Haveli nuevo con habitaciones muy confortables, con un baño totalmente equipado y con artículos de aseo,TV leed con internet, agua mineral cada día, piscina, terraza, etc. La dirección y todo el personal muy profesional, recordaremos mucho tiempo sus atenciones con nosotros. Buen desayuno en la terraza. Lo recomendamos al 100%.

Es un hotel muy bonito que te hace sentir que estás en un palacio de Rajasthan por su arquitectura y decoración. Me encantó que está súper limpio y es muy seguro (viajo sola) y es lo que buscaba. El personal es muy amable y respetuoso. Eso es lo que busca una principalmente. Comentario real, mi visita es este diciembre 2023.

The castle is awesome and one of the most romantic places Ive ever experienced. The hotel is inside the castle and has a wonderful spa, two delicious restsurants, outstanding breakfast and a beautiful swimming pool. The service of the staff is exceptional. To be honest- I didnt want to leave this place anymore :D Eating in the restaurant with the view from the mountain or getting lost in all the little aisles within the castle - it feels like living in a different world. There is even a theatre inside with regular dance performances...

Driving from the main road to the reception, we started feeling the good ambience. The reception was exceptionally open and inviting. Our room was around a kilometre away and we could not hear parties near the reception area.

Great hotel in a fantastic location right on the lake. Hotel is located a very short tuk tuk ride away from the old streets of Udaipur. Loved that we could use the complimentary bikes to ride around the lake. The food at the rooftop restaurant was exceptional.

After a series of overpriced supposedly luxury hotels in India this was the first one that really got it right that wasn't crazy expensive. Place was wonderfully clean, luxuriously decorated (!), room was great, shower was at least very good, beds were very clean, towels good, bathroom spacious, breakfast and restaurant was excellent, second best of the whole trip of ~10 hotels, nice pool and rooftop, awesome courtyard. MRG group seems to "get it" compared to a whole series of properties that just don't seem to understand what they are getting wrong. I mean, they had a guy dusting the lamp shades one by one with a cloth! Stay here!
