The staff was extremely accommodating. due to flight delays we arrived quite late, but we were well greeted for our transport from the airport, and we’ll taken care of upon our 1 am arrival. And on the morning of our departure we had an early connection for a booked tour but the staff was able to arrange for an early breakfast for us.

Situated in Kololi, 200 metres from Kololi Beach, Bamboo Village Resort features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The staff was amazing they always had a smile on the face from the server, cook, receptionist to the security team. I really felt welcome and I will stay there again. I am personal thanking the two Fatous, servers Muhammed the cook Ous the cook, the server that worked at night sorry I forgot her name. The cleaners were great too!

Palmarima is an excellent place.I booked quickly a few nights without thinking ,and found me in a decent clean and quiet room .there are great villas too,all around a huge well designed pool and park ,with flowers ,palms ,big trees of all sorts .Personell is keepin it superclean all the time and they are All very kind (Gambia isby far the kindest place i ever visited ,and i went to soo many countries and all bathrooms are superclean ,food is clean ,people are beautifully dressed ) The free Breakfast has plenty of choices,not over the top ,because this is no huge mega many rooms kinda place . Beach is little walk away wich is another great experience ,best live music ..tuesday afternoons dance group in the palmarima is mindblowing too...

The garden of the resort is a beautiful place and offers a very nice place if you like to see some animals, as it attracts a lot of fauna being a very green and well-plantend place in the area. If you visit Gambia to watch birds and if you are looking for a quiet place to spend some relaxed days and watch birds in the garden and around the property, this is a perfect place. For people keen on birding: we were surprised by a fly-by through the garden of a Standard-winged Nightjar while relaxing in front of our room, which indicates the value of this place for nice birds. In the evening, these birds are often present on the property and can be easily seen on the path. Besides this stunning species, lots of common and less common birds can be observed in the garden, starting with a nice view on the garden while having breakfast.
