Situated in Frome, 14 km from Longleat Safari Park, Full Moon Inn Rudge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Breakfast was EXCELLENT! The bacon, sausages and eggs were fresh and local produce. The location is a small and very picturesque village and our beautifully decorated bedroom had a view of the downs and the White Horse. We are gluten and dairy free and this did not impede our choice of food at all. Little touches like gluten-free biscuits in the bedroom were especially appreciated! The landlady was very caring, capable and charming as was the waitress.

Situated in Winscombe, 22 km from Ashton Court, The Swan Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Brekky was yummy. Very fresh and table service. Love that you bring your dogs inside and that they also have a pet menu! Staff were very friendly and great customer service. Loved the whole place. Beautiful comfy room. Very clean and great coffee in room with fresh milk in the fridge, not long life baby caps of milk. Yummy cookies in the room and percolated coffee. A Dyson fan was brought to our room when my hubby was hot and lovely classical music playing quietly in our room on arrival. Definitely will be back.

Set in Frome, The Foresters features a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Everything to do with our stay around a friend's wedding in the area was delightful. The room was a nice size, everything was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was full of fresh fruits and a cooked breakfast so big some of us couldn't finish it! And when we were caught in a logistical pinch, the owners went out of their way to help us. They were so very kind and friendly, and I'd visit again in a heartbeat.

Dunster Castle Hotel is located in the medieval village of Dunster. Free WiFi access is available. All rooms have a private bathroom with bath or shower. We love Dunster but had not stayed at the Dunster Castle hotel before. The location is convenient to everything, and the car park behind was a pleasant surprise! The rooms were stylish and super comfortable (a glass of sherry before bed was delightful), and breakfast was delicious. Our son was with us and had an interview over Zoom and the wi-fi worked perfectly. We could not have been happier with the hotel and the owners—just so accommodating. We will definitely stay here our next time to Dunster.

The chalet/stable was absolutely fantastic, finished to a high standard, lovely king size bed,TV and tea and coffee the staff were all very friendly. Great place to stay!!!

In the Exmoor National Park, the 13th-century Luttrell Arms offers medieval features and picturesque gardens. Delicious breakfast ....very good assortment of pastries , cerals, fruits. The hot choices were very good and cooked to perfection. We loved the staff. They were all wonderful esp Jules, Freya, Lucy, Charlie. Dinner was superb. The fish n chips were an A+++ and we are from New England. The hotel is so steeped in unique history and each nook and crannies reflects this beauty. Our room ( #1)was fantastic.I The Secret Garden was indeed a lovely secret haven for afternoon tea.

Adjacent to The Langford Inn are en suite bedrooms housed in 2 converted 17th-century barns with exposed beams, original brickwork, oak floors and luxuries for modern living. The Langford Inn gave us quick and easy access to Bristol airport. The staff were very welcoming and we had an excellent dinner in the restaurant. We had to leave too early for breakfast and we were provided with a breakfast ‘bag’ of fruit, pastries and coffee cups for use at the airport. The room was comfortable and peaceful. Our short stay exceeded expectations and we will definitely use this venue again.
