Quiet location within walking distance from Kirkcudbright. Lovely countryside and views. Hotel was charming and had small number of rooms so not crowded. Owners and staff were friendly and cheerful and helpful. Room was very comfortable and clean and full of original features. Good en-suite facilities. Breakfast was full of lovely options, and due to Covid restrictions, the dining was well spaced out. Views from breakfast dining room were very nice indeed. Great cycling countryside so would defo go back there with bikes. Thumbs up, Arden Hall Hotel :o)

Small but well maintained health and fitness suite with pool, jacuzzi, sauna and a small gym area. Golf on site plus local forest walks in what was the house grounds. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Good choice of cold and hot breakfast items on a self service basis. Restaurant was high quality with very good locally sourced produce.
