I arrived in the middle of an acute bout of sickness (non-COVID related). I had visited a pharmacy for an antigen test to confirm this. I stayed in bed for 48 hours until my wife arrived to take me home. The staff were very solicitous.

Located in the medieval sea-side resort of Port-Louis, Hotel La Citadelle is just 250 metres from the beach in the Morbihan department of Brittany in north-western France. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, very fine restaurant (delicious oysters!) for dinner, great breakfast. Very tastefully re-modelled, very spacious room, free parking out front, within a stone's throw to the fort and waterfront, and the laid-back attitude of Port-Louis (seaside harbour town) is felt everywhere, very relaxing! All in all a lovely location and very pleasant stay.
