Everything about this property was lovely. Beautiful view outside the window, the town was a pleasant surprise with great restaurants and some shopping. The cleaning staff was TOP NOTCH. My fiancé and I were blown away by the attention to detail the staff took while tending to our room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. If you’re going on a hike, purchase the picnic lunch, it was perfect. 10/10 would stay again.

Loved the small city of Jaca. The cathedral provides the main historical interest. The old streets have interesting little shops - fashion and jewellery - and numerous tapas bars and restaurants. You may find some restaurants where not much English is spoken but that adds to the fun of ordering food! Great base for exploring the high Aragon valleys and mountains.

Huesca is a marvelous town in the north of the great and historically important region of Aragon in Spain. Some of the Aragonese kings who were important in the early stages of the Reconquista are buried in San Pedro the Viejo there. But the marvelous place in Huelva is the great cathedral complex - filled with interesting, important, and very early art. Not to be missed!!. The museum was good.

Excellent place to visit with a lot of history but a modern city that allows time for visits to excellent restaurants to enjoy the delicious gastronomy of Aragon. Getting around was easy and not expensive and its people were friendly and honest.

Lovely town! Recommend a visit to the Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar, stroll the streets of El Tubo, taste the fruit of Aragon, if there is time, go to Belchite. Don't miss the Tavern El Sardi, for dinner, outstanding! For breakfast the Dolce Vita Pastry, superb!

Compared to stars like Zaragoza, Huesca is underrated. The alabaster altar in the cathedral has to be seen when the setting sun hits it through the West windows. Great choice of restaurants. Great base to visit the two hotspots from which the Aragonese Reconquista started: Loarre castle and the San Juan de la Peña monasteries, all in breathtaking Pyrenean landscapes.

Booked for 3 nights initially and then added 2 more nights, because Jaca has so much to offer!

My wife and I joke about a hotel review we once saw that said the croissants were not crunchy, so we laughed when we discovered at breakfast at HG Alto Aragón that the croissants were crunchy! No machine coffee, but great spread of hot and cold breakfast, pastries and fruit.

The hotel has a luxurious feel but is very affordable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There was a good view of the mountains from the road. They give a complimentary bottle of wine at check in.. they did have a pool and a playground for kids. The grocery store didn't bother to turn on lights, so it was hard to see what they had. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple more euros to stay in one of the hotels nearby.
