This is a fabulous boutique hotel. The hotel has an ideal location on the West bank that makes it easy to visit the Valley of the Kings and many other ancient sites. It is a very tranquil property with breath-taking views of the Nile and Luxor on the far bank. The hotel boat service to cross the Nile to Luxor town works extremely well. The architecture of the hotel is stunning and the individual rooms are very well designed with interesting original furnishings. The breakfast is excellent with fresh coffee and eggs. The dinner menu changes every day and offers a good choice of seasonal dishes. Most nights we dined at the hotel. The hotel does not sell alcohol, but you can bring in your own. Dr Marina is an excellent host, who makes you feel very welcome. She clearly knows how to organize and run a hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Djorff Palace has a relaxed atmosphere and Marina enjoys chatting and sharing her experiences in Egypt and beyond.

Pavillon Winter Luxor offers 3 restaurants, 2 bars, and warm hospitality in the heart of Luxor city. It overlooks the River Nile and is just 100 metres away from the Luxor Temple. Absolutely loved the property. There were peacocks and flamingoes roaming free in the vast lawn. The location was fantastic. Right opposite the Corniche. And walking distance from the Luxor temple and the souk.

A truly peaceful place far from the scammers and street sellers elsewhere in Luxor :-) it's a great starting point for visiting the ancient monuments at the West Bank of Nile. Jaba organized our trip in the area for a very fair price and with a very sweet driver. Would definitely come back! The room itself is designed with taste in a classical style and much larger than regular rooms. Also the breakfast was fantastic and different every day. In the evening we asked for vegetarian options and got some grilled and baked veggies, the tajin was delicious! Thanks for having us! In sha'llah see u again!
