The rooms where very nice and very clean. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed a couple more days to enjoy the sea and the pool. We asked for 2 rooms near each other and were surprised when we were given connecting rooms. This was a nice perk for our family. The breakfast was very good.

The breakfast was exceptional with high quality hearty as well as cereals as well as sweet components. Alkaline products like fresh carots and others were part of the choice. Even when the breakfast room was well-frequented, the atmosphere was really comfortable. The sleeping room was very good and the hotel was inside characterized by friendly brick architecture. Over average hotel architecture, indeed. It fits to the prosperous Odense. The hotel was close to the city and to most of touristic spots.

The place is also unique, quiet and very relaxing surroundings.

A pleasant town with lovely walks along the river. There were building works going on & obviously some archaeological dig which impeded traffic access. Pleasant shopping streets, range of shops & eating places, but menus not routinely displayed in English. A very busy road network with some access closed for road works which made getting in & out of the town quite slow. The island of Funen is charming, wirthbeautiful countryside & charming buildings. Access via bridges to smaller islands is recommended for woodland & coastal walks. A visit to the restaurant in the vaulted cellars of Valdemars Slot (castle) on the little island of Taasinge is well worth it. On Sundays they do an all-in buffet at a good price so you can try lots of Danish food. Eydes Gastro Pub in Odense is also worth a visit.

We liked every single thing about the property! The rooms are spacious with a sofa, kettle and two desks, the bathroom was bare but spacious. The breakfast was lovely, the staff super friendly, funny and chatty. There are also two water bikes available to use on the river and there’s even a spot outside (that isn’t part of the hotel) with picnic tables. The decor is lovely and the beds are super comfortable.
