The hotel is in a great location for beaches, and Cahuita restaurants and bars. Also easy walk to Cahuita national park. The hotel rear gardens stretch to the sea, and time can be spent relaxing and watching the waves from various chairs and hammocks. The balcony had great views of the ocean. Lots of birds. We had small kitchen and fridge as part of room and enjoyed some simple homemade dishes. The staff are friendly and helpful, and everything felt very secure.

Top apartment with a really high standard from kitchen to bathroom. The owner really put a lot of effort into every detail. Daniele and his family are very kind hosts that made us feel very welcome. The garden is amazing and close to Cahuita national park. We could watch howler monkeys, hummingbirds and lots of other birds from the terrace. The breakfast offered is delicious.

Did not feel like a typical hostel, in a good way. The garden is beautiful and you find places to relax everywhere. Cahuita National Park is just around the corner as well as good restaurants and bars and the beach. You can spot the first animals in the garden already. We decided to stay longer as we liked the place very much.

Erina and Matheo created a real paradise! The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished and everything was clean and nice! They were very helpful and even do a free shuttle to the entrance of the Cahuita national park for their guests. I absolutely can recommend El colibri rojo and would definitely return!

Nice backpacker-style hostel with friendly atmosphere, individual apartments and a shared kitchen building. Very good located to the Cahuita National Park (just 5 min walking distance) - ideal for early-morning visits!

Lovely room. Lots of little extras to make the stay quite nice. Beautiful grounds, secure parking, nice safe neighborhood, and super close to the beach. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Amazing happy hour!!! 2 for one LARGE drinks. Definitely get your monies worth. Decent breakfast as well. Restaurant on site well-priced. Highly recommend.

Wonderful little apartment in a great location within Cahuita, a short walk to the national park. Clean and quiet. Anett is a friendly, attentive, and informative host, fluent in Spanish, English, and German. Well-stocked kitchenette with good-sized refrigerator. Pleasant garden with outdoor chairs. Excellent wifi.

Well designed, bright, spacious rooms, with both a purified water dispenser and coffee machine. Lovey individual sitting area/deck with comfortable furniture outside each room. Restaurant was excellent. Especially liked the deck overlooking the sea. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a blast! Very received a very friendly welcome by the manager. The breakfast ($10 per person) was delicious and included toast, fresh juice, rice, eggs, pancake, coffee, fresh fruit, etc. This place is a gem. Thanks for having us!

The garden is beautiful, the pool too and the people are very friendly! The accommodation is very clean. The beach with a lot of bars and restaurants is very close and can be reached by a 2 minutes walk.

The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and full of trees that attracted local wildlife like sloths and toucans. Pool area was pristine and the the hotel very secure.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The location is perfect, near the entrance to the park and sorrounded by nature. The rooms are equiped with everything you need. Overall a very pleasant experience.
