The rooms are large, with mosaic work, a huge walk-in shower, and a large bed. The staff is very nice, the breakfast delicious. Very good coffee. We enjoyed the hot tub, a drink from the bar, and the walk in Las Cascadas.

SEL Lodge - Aventura y Descanso features an outdoor swimming pool and a spa in Cajon del Maipo. It offers free Wi-Fi and Continental breakfast. Lagunilla ski centre is 25 km away. We really enjoyed our time there. It was quiet, beautiful. The room was big, fresh and clean. The reception's staff was very friendly.

The lodge is in a beautiful location on the banks of the Maipo River. It was ideal for our travelling group (5 persons/3 rooms) for our two night stay. As it is 14kms from the town centre of San Jose de Maipo and, even considering there are a few dining options within 5kms, we decided to eat in and use the BBQ facilities. While this means going to the supermarket for essentials it was well worth it, relaxing on the deck with good Chilean wine. The owner, Christian, set the BBQs up and got the fires going (his specialty). The cabins are well appointed and the sound of the Maipo River is music to the ears. Communication with the owner is via WhatsApp and his responses were always immediate.

The property is very well constructed...I'd say the best we've experienced of any cabana we rented....and we've been here 2 months! The shower has hot, dependable steady water and the wood flooring in the shower is a nice Euro touch. Really, the nicest quality cabana we've stayed in.
