10 km from Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg, Hotel Dakota is set in Meiringen and offers free WiFi and a tour desk. We loved everything! The hotel is close to the trainstation and nice restaurants. The staff was super friendly. Everything was clean. But most importantly, the breakfast was yummielicious!

First of all great thanks to personal in reception. They helped me in all questions. The location of hotel is very good: 100m from railway station; 15 mins from Aare river; close to hotel is many restaurants and market. The staff was lovely and flexible , supportive ,very welcoming. The view was really amazing ، for sure, I will have it again on my next trip recommended for couples and family trips

This 3-star hotel in the centre of Meiringen is just 2-minute walk from Meiringen Train Station and 800 metres from the slopes of the Meiringen-Hasliberg Ski Area. We have stayed several times in Hotel Meiringen and it is truly a very good hotel. Friendly staff, newly renovated rooms with lots of space, and convenient with a good restaurant in the building. When we go to Meiringen/Hasliberg, we will definitely stay here again :)

Located 4 km from the Brünig Pass, Hotel Bären offers a sun terrace with views of the Engelhörner Mountains and a restaurant. The location and views were beautiful. As a family of 4 we had two adjoining rooms with a shared bathroom which gave us plenty of space.

Personnel were extremely welcoming and professional throughout the stay. Breakfast and Dinner were much appreciated! Dinner carte aligned with fine dining! Afternoon cake is a great idea to welcome back guests after their daily outing! Superior room cleanliness perfect.

The location and the view from the balcony/room is absolutely amazing. I loved that it also had a big playroom for kids. Very good breakfast and food at the restaurant.

Situated in Meiringen, 15 km from Giessbachfälle, Das Hotel Sherlock Holmes features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel is easily accessible and close to the train station, while being very quiet over night. Our room was more like a 2-bedroom apartment, more than enough space for 5 people and definitely worth a long stay. We'll definitely consider to stay here again if travelling again in the area.
