Breakfast was great. Location is very strategic as it’s only 3 minutes walk from the train station and the Mt Titlis ticket office is only 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Our room was clean. Beds were clean. Our room has a balcony too facing to the other Alps. And the hotel staff also gave us our takeaway breakfast on the day we checked out.. but including those two coloured boiled eggs in the photo .. thanks to Luzia, Rebecca and the other lady in the kitchen 😇

El Hotel Waldegg - Adults only goza de una ubicación elevada orientada al sur en Engelberg. Ofrece vistas panorámicas a las montañas, zona de spa con piscina cubierta y restaurante. Staff was amazing! You cannot tell the owner apart from the staff. He acts like staff and the staff acts like owners! Amazing customer focus! The view is by far the best in Engelberg. Try the Thai food restaurant! There are no children!

El Family-Hostel SPANNORT with common kitchen and self check-in está situado en el centro de Engelberg, cerca de la estación de tren. This is the first time we really felt home away from home! Rooms are really cozy, the shared kitchen is super-well equipped (e.g. not only a stove and a microwave, but an oven, etc.) -- and everything is kept within the same design, which really make it feel as the whole. The location is super-convenient as well: ~15 min from the train station, ~5 min from bus stations to ski areas, ~7 min from grocery shops and ~10 min from a ski rent. The stuff is super-friendly and almost every day there were small evening compliments in the shared kitchen like hot chocolate with marshmallows, which contribute to the cozyness. Everything is controlled via the app, so it's self- check-in, self- check-out, live chat with the stuff in case needed and no physical key.

Amazing location, great breakfast, beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff, nice meals. Would recommend and would stay again!

The hotel has an easily accessible underground parking, modern decoration in the rooms with a twist of wooden elements keeping the ambiance of the area. I saw the main restaurant too, loved tge chimney element, the cobbled walls and the scenic view overlooking mountains. Well arranged space. Breakfast is also awesome, many choices. Our stay was for 1 night but since we travel a lot to the area we will come again
