Spectacular views, the caretakers and staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to help you. The lodge is located right between Moremi South and North gate, perfect to travel to both gates or the Chobe entrance. There are two pool areas, one overlooking the surroundings with a (natural) pool in front of it with regular wildlife visits, a bar and the sunset at the end of the day. It has a cozy lounge area next to it with a lot of privacy. The second area has a bigger pool annexed to the restaurant (with tasty food) and some lounge areas. The camp sites are a couple of minutes drive from the lodge, offer a lot of privacy and are also very convenient to stay with a group. They offer a private bathroom (or two annexed), toilets and fireplace (for BBQ), all amenities are very clean and you get the chance to experience wildlife first hand, which is exhilarating!! We felt safe throughout our stay and the staff was super attentive, bringing more wood for the fire in the evening. The lodges also look beautiful and there’s a walking bridge that connects all areas. A special thank you to Jolande and Johan for the warm welcome, chats and tips.
