The entire staff were all fantastic. So helpful, so accommodating, so friendly. If you have any travel related questions or are in need of recommendations on where to go/what to see/how to get there they’ve got your back. The food prepared in the kitchen is top notch and super affordable. Beds were comfy enough. Facilities were clean. They even have a clothes washer with plenty of lines to hang dry. Lots of space for chilling/relaxing.

Beyond amazing in every way - I have travelled the world and stayed at many many places - never have I experienced soooo much help - kindness - generosity - I had an emergency dental issue and the owner not only arranged an appointment on my day of arrival but personally drove me the three times I had to go. Plus to ATM and to a festival on my first night. The breakfast each morning is so generous and different each day morning and served on the upstairs deck with sea views and a lovely breeze. Even a small thing when a button came off and I asked for a sewing kit he took to his wife to do for me. I also used his recommendation for a driver from the airport as o arrived late at night and would again recommend this service / it might cost a little bit more but worth it. I used the same driver to take me to Munroe Island. The room was spacious - comfortable and modern quiet a/c and a fan, plus a kettle. The bathroom had all that was needed with hot water. There is also a kitchen downstairs with large fridge and microwave. The beach is a five minute walk away. I will never forget the hospitality and kindness making my first trip ever to India incredible. Thank you 🙏

I stayed at Pleasant Hill Resort with friends for two nights in November, 2023. Initially we had planned to stay in Munnar but then changed our mind and that was a right choice. Location of the hotel is on the hills and all rooms have a very beautiful view. Its a very quiet place to stay. Territory of the hotel is very greenery. Rooms are big enough and clean. Breakfasts have a wide range of dishes and beverages. We also had two dinners there. Food was always fresh and well cooked. Room service is available there. All members of the staff were very helpful, especially receptionists and restaurant personnel, including Sharath. We received recommendations for the destinations we could visit within 2 days and had very good excursions made by car. Also we were helped with organising our transfer to Mariri beach.

Absolutely superb boutique accommodation, right on the Backwaters... best so far. We had 2 rooms and the very welcome plunge pool. Everything about the place was serene and relaxing. David is a wonderful host, and we enjoyed chatting with him about his experiences in our country, Ireland. Anish was extremely helpful, especially on arrival after our long journey. We did kayaking, and canal tour from the accommodation and really enjoyed these. The location is sublime...right on the river. I'll never forget that sunrise. We enjoyed a delicious home-cooked dinner on the deck. Just book it!!

Kalidasa Tree House and Villa, Wayanad ligger i Chekadi, få skridt fra Kuruvadweep, og har søudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Villaen har egen indgang. Villaen har familieværelser. I loved the place . It was very nice and clean. Mr. Sudheesh was very friendly, he gave us home cooked food and drove us and showed wonderful view of river. And the massage we had there was the highlight. Worth for the money. Overall we had a excellent stay and overwhelming hospitality from Sudheesh and his family..

Munroe Coconut Homestay har udsigt til haven og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis cykler og balkon, ca. 25 km fra Kollam Station. Der er adgang til terrasse, gratis privat parkering og gratis wi-fi. I loved the homestay. Being a female solo traveller, Rahul- the host and his parents made sure that I was very well fed with authentic local cuisines and I was comfortable. Rahul and his family are extremely kind. They helped me with the local places, arranging transport to the homestay and having great conversations. I am definitely going to go back and stay longer. If you come to Munroe Island, stay here and go for a boat ride with Rahul. Its explicable! Thank you Rahul :)

Very good value for money. The room and sheets were clean. Room had normal shower with hot water. Window and balcony faced the forest, so we really enjoyed sounds of birds. Homestay is a bit further from the main street, so it was quiet. They also have a restaurant downstairs. Host speaks English and is very helpful.
