Great location a little off the beaten track from the usual tourist destinations, nice restaurants close by and not a lot else’s going on. Sun, sea and peace. Our host was in contact with us from before we got off the ferry and answered all our awkward questions as to which bus to get on ( the only bus) where to get off and was there to meet us. Throughout our stay he was available to assist us with car hire and local information. A lovely place to put the feet up for a few days.

The small attic with terrace is very cozy and welcoming, tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. The terrace for exclusive use is very enjoyable and guarantees privacy. Soline is a small, very quiet village immersed in the absolute silence of the natural park, perfect for relaxing and unplugging from the daily frenzy. An enchanting sea is just a short walk from the house, as are many hiking trails that enter the wonderful natural park. The owner Martina and the girls working at the property were friendly, professional and made our stay memorable.

Apartments Angelo er staðsett í innan við 300 metra fjarlægð frá Paljevina-ströndinni og 18 km frá Odysseus-hellinum í Polače og býður upp á herbergi með loftkælingu og sérbaðherbergi. This family run accommodation met our expectations and much more. The hosts were exceptionally accommodating and friendly, with even extending our check out time as our ferry was cancelled due to weather. The apartment was extremely clean, spacious and modern.. with a fantastic view! We found the location the best on this side of the island as its a lot less touristy than Pomena and has great little local shops around it (also getting around the national park was easy to do on foot or bikes from Poláce). Would strongly recommend this stay and want to thank Sandra and her lovely family again for having us... we'll be back!

Apartments Lorena Mljet er staðsett í Pomena, 22 km frá Odysseus-hellinum og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi. Was greeted by Pavo, who helped with the luggage and gifted us his "best batch" of olive oil to sample. Great views, comfortable, perfect!!

The view from the balcony (see photo), like the whole island, is serene and so beautiful it is Heaven on Earth. It is a minute walk to the sea so you can take many quick dips. Dragonflies and butterflies are in abundance. The Aleppo pines are full of cicadas. The restaurant is also a minute away. You see the vines growing from your room and can drink the homemade wine at the restaurant; you see fig trees and can have fig jam with your breakfast; the salad seemed homegrown too. The staff are all really friendly and go out of their way to answer any questions that you might have. They go above and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. The location is great! There are more restaurants, if you want them, about 5 minutes walk away and you pass Roman ruins on the way. It is a moderately easy walk to the inland lakes (about 35 minutes walk on a hilly path through the woods) where the water is even warmer for swimming. If you like walking (or cycling) there are lots of different paths and tracks signposted, from 2-14 km. There is an excellent local taxi service to get you from the port, or to take you anywhere else on the island.

Offering a seasonal outdoor pool, Boutique Pine Tree Apartments is set in Saplunara, 32 km from Mljet National Park. The apartment features free WiFi and free private parking available on site. Great facilities. Nice breakfast. Very friendly owner

Apartments Lampalo er staðsett í Okuklje og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi. Gististaðurinn er staðsettur við ströndina og býður upp á veitingastað, grillaðstöðu, garð og verönd með útihúsgögnum. It was one of the best experiences we ever had! Jele and Petar were exceptional hosts and were just so lovely to us and our dog. They sent us a detailed description of how to get there and greeted us with wine and pancakes on arrival. They were always available and most helpful when we had any questions. The communication in English (and a little bit of German) was without any problems. The apartment was very clean and in the kitchen we found everything we needed. Very comfortable beds, air conditioning worked perfectly and the view is just spectacular! The bay is calm and idyllic without too many tourists and you can jump into the water right before the building. We will definitely return!

Fabulous food and very warm hospitality in this family-run hotel. Marin looked after us so well, and it was a delight too spend time with him and his mother Nicka. Kozarica is a quiet and magical corner of Mljet and it was a privilege to stay there.
