It would be especially nice in summer as it is in the foothills of the mountain range. I think this property is astounding value for money. Other properties in the area are much more expensive.

Boasting a garden, bar and views of river, Vila Viktorija is set in Brod na Kupi, 43 km from Risnjak National Park. The breakfast was really great. Eggs and bacon with toast and a variety of jams. The bacon was slightly smoky and delicious. The eggs tasted fresh and were perfect. The owner gave us a great recommendation for a picnic place that was a lovely adventure to hiking to caves.

Situated in Ravna Gora, partments and Rooms K'Eli provides accommodation with free WiFi, a spa centre, a hot tub and a sauna. The sauna and jacuzzi were excelent. There was also an option of a local masseuse, which is better to coordinate ahead of time. Perfect place for a city-dweller to have a holiday in nature.

Offering a garden and garden view, Apartment Ernestova hiša is set in Lokve, 39 km from The Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral and 40 km from The Croatian National Theatre Ivan Zajc.... The apartment we stayed in was very cosy and well equipped.

Host was very open minded, nice and polite. He gave us very useful information about the park. Also very pleasant and nice neighborhood.

Situated in Fužine in the Primorsko-Goranska županija Region, 32 km from Opatija, Apartment house Lalita features a barbecue and views of the mountain. Great location in a beautiful little village! Marinko, the owner, is nice and friendly and willing to share his knowledge of the local area.

Set in the unspoiled nature of the Gorski Kotar region, Chalets Zelena Vrata features wooden chalets equipped with LCD TV and surrounded by a 4500 m² fenced private garden. I loved the location and the cottage is lovely. Huge plus is that pets are allowed and my dog absolutely loved the yard.

Situated at 820 metres above sea level in the mountain region of Gorski Kotar, Boutique Hotel Japodi B&B is a wooden guesthouse with handmade furniture in the village of Sunger. Great place located within wonderful landscape. The owners Robert and Jagoda are super nice. Dinner and breakfast were made of local materials and directly prepared by Jagoda. Even though the stay was only one night, it was possible to relax and come down after a long road trip.
