The apartment was small but comfortable, with kitchen and laundry facilities. The place was super clean, the host friendly and kind. I only had time to stay for a weekend, but I would definitely go back and maybe next time spend more days in Ryde!

Richard met us at the door when we arrived on the property. We took a taxi from the Wight Link ferry pier to the property - Ryde Taxi is lovely! The apartment was within walking distance to the beach, high street, grocery store and public transportation. We didn't have a car and didn't need one. There was coffee, tea, milk and biscuits to welcome us at the apartment. The location was quiet, clean and had a full kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. There wasn't a dryer; however, there was a very handy clothes horse in the closet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Shanklin! Thank you, Richard! We hope to be back again in the future!

The owners (Pete and Warren) think about the guests, and I could see that in everything - the house, room, services, and breakfast. They were very caring, friendly, and kind and made me feel at home. My dog was very excited and noisy in the breakfast room, had a toilet accident, and got sick, but they were very understanding. Not many places allow dogs in the eating area, so it was nice. The room was super clean and comfortable, I definitely come back for my next visit to IoW!

We stayed in one of the Stable Cottages. Our Stable Cottage was the ideal retreat. It was in an idyllic location very close to the beach. It was extremely quiet and peaceful down a country lane. Nigel's detailed instructions made it easy to find the cottage. The cottage was very well equipped and lacked nothing in the way of facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable.There were plenty of towels provided. We liked the wet room instead of a traditional bathroom. The milk and eggs left in the fridge for us were a nice touch. Nigel was a very attentive host and keen to make sure all his guests were happy. We felt welcome.

Perfect for our one night stay after our event. Breakfast was amazing - especially the sausages 😋 So friendly and welcoming lovely room with en-suite very clean and tidy. Very homely, great room, great location (short walk to the beach) and a fantastic host, who provided lots of useful guidance and suggestions for our visit. And breakfast was amazing too. Highly recommended!

O Ward Aveune B&B fica apenas a 5 minutos a pé da Cowes High Street e do seu porto, de onde partem ferries para Southampton. The cabin felt as though it was in a tropical forest, so beautiful and at night was lit up like a fairy grotto. The garden backs on to a park so it was easy to walk the dogs and is fairly close to the main street with cafes and restaurants.
