This is my 2nd time at Alto del Aguila. What a great place! Pretty rustic cabins, a most welcoming owner offering very affordable activities with local guides, animals galore. The highlight of the stay: cute squirrel monkeys eat pieces of banana on our shoulders, a capuchin monkey comes to curl up, eagles visit us. You can even borrow the kayak to paddle on the river to see the pink dolphins! You have to walk a little to get to the village but the tranquility, the sound of the birds and the jungle are worth it! In addition, coffee is offered in the morning. I loved my stay and highly recommend this place.

The owners were beyond accommodating for us following a late arrival due to delayed transport and then helped us with getting passports stamped and getting to the airport. The hostel itself was a great location with perfect, clean facilities and amazing staff.

Casa do Xingu for sure exceeded my expectations. The professor (Juan) and the girls (Juanda & Dora) are really great hosts. With Juan, you can speak multiple foreign languages, discuss many subjects and indeed have a great start on the Amazon journey. In the end, I stayed for a week more than I initially planned and If/when I come back to Leticia, I will for sure go there again.

L'Hostal Búho Amazonas tours est situé à Leticia. Il propose une réception ouverte 24h/24, une cuisine commune et un bureau d'excursions. The hostal is located directly next to Amazonian river. A very beautiful and unique place, especially for the sunset! The hole family who run the place is very kindful and helpful. You can book a completely program with a variety of experiences, in the forest, the river and an indigenious community. But also some single adventures. The guide is a local Ticuna, so you can learn a lot about the culture. I highly recommend the place ;)
