Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. - A very modest accommodation but easily in the top 5% of the places I’ve ever visited when it comes to cleanliness - The owner, Javier, did his best to communicate with me and to help with everything I wanted even though we had to use translator 99% of the time - Javier organized all the trips for me and made many calls to book boat rides, planned trips and accommodations at other destinations for me - I received valuable advice about the realistic level of the price of certain services - thanks to this, I managed to negotiate at least a 50% discount in many cases and found amazing places to eat at (not only in Leticia but also in Brazil and in Peru) - Javier gave me free rides to the meeting points of organized tours or even to the airport, even though that was absolutely not his responsibility as a host

Cabañas alto del aguila in Puerto Nariño features 2-star accommodation with a garden. The hotel has family rooms. This is my 2nd time at Alto del Aguila. What a great place! Pretty rustic cabins, a most welcoming owner offering very affordable activities with local guides, animals galore. The highlight of the stay: cute squirrel monkeys eat pieces of banana on our shoulders, a capuchin monkey comes to curl up, eagles visit us. You can even borrow the kayak to paddle on the river to see the pink dolphins! You have to walk a little to get to the village but the tranquility, the sound of the birds and the jungle are worth it! In addition, coffee is offered in the morning. I loved my stay and highly recommend this place.

Surrounded by nature on the outskirts, pet parrots and dogs! New year in the pool will always be memorable. Nice breakfast included. Very clean room with air con and good bathroom. Just loved it here :)

Hospedaje casa Lucía provides accommodation in Leticia. The inn features an outdoor swimming pool and room service and free WiFi throughout the property. The owners were beyond accommodating for us following a late arrival due to delayed transport and then helped us with getting passports stamped and getting to the airport. The hostel itself was a great location with perfect, clean facilities and amazing staff.

Casa do Xingú provides rooms in Leticia. This homestay offers free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The homestay features family rooms. Casa do Xingu for sure exceeded my expectations. The professor (Juan) and the girls (Juanda & Dora) are really great hosts. With Juan, you can speak multiple foreign languages, discuss many subjects and indeed have a great start on the Amazon journey. In the end, I stayed for a week more than I initially planned and If/when I come back to Leticia, I will for sure go there again.

From the moment we stepped through the sleek front gate, we were captivated by the contemporary design and attention to detail. The air conditioning system provided a welcome escape from the outside heat, ensuring our comfort throughout the day. One standout feature was the commitment to safety. Hostal Búho Amazonas tours is situated in Leticia. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and organising tours for guests. The hostal is located directly next to Amazonian river. A very beautiful and unique place, especially for the sunset! The hole family who run the place is very kindful and helpful. You can book a completely program with a variety of experiences, in the forest, the river and an indigenious community. But also some single adventures. The guide is a local Ticuna, so you can learn a lot about the culture. I highly recommend the place ;)

Featuring a garden, a year-round outdoor pool and pool views, Casa amazilia is located in Leticia. This guest house provides air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. Staying with Mari and her family made my visit to the Amazon absolutely amazing. From the moment Mari picked me up at the airport on her motorcycle until she took me back 5 days later I felt cared for in a way that would never have happened in a hotel. It can be so confusing to sort out tours, etc. in Leticia, but Mari listened to what I wanted to do and see and helped me set up an itinerary that was just perfect. The highlight of the trip being a solo 5-hour walk/canoe ride with her brother, Elvis, through the jungle. He has a wealth of knowledge about all facets of the jungle and the people who live there. I am so grateful to Mari to opening her home to me and making me feel like part of the family.
