This is my new favorite hotel and we have traveled a lot worldwide. We were there during a rainy time and yet it was absolutely wonderful. It was meticulously clean, spacious, every detail thought of and a very kind staff. There were endless activities for our children, tamales for breakfast and pelican watching to go with it. We travelled on honeymoon from Vegas to San Francisco. It's a perfecf stop to break up the section of the self drive between LA and Monterey, i randomly selected Pismo and was so pleased that we did. Very good price, perfect location with the beach and bars only a 2 minute walk away. The room was very large and immaculately clean (wea were given a free upgrade, Thankyou). The beds were comfortable, and there was a small kitchen in our room with a fridge, microwave, cooking hob and free wi fi. We even had free parking and a spacious decking area to sit out on. We didn't use the pool as there was little time but it looked nice.

The first 3 weeks were perfect , the hotel staff amazing. But somehow I misunderstood the checkout date and was late by an hour and a half checking out and things got ugly fast . I felt terrible as they had guests coming in as well. Someone on the staff team said some mean things and my checkout price was higher than I was quoted or had paid all the prior days … Much higher. I was to receive a 20% off for my stays as I am local and in between houses. They didn’t apply that to my Che out fees at all . I guess because I was late checking out .
