The owner takes very good care of the property, so everything is clean, well maintained, and cared for! I love the bags set out in the kitchen for paper, plastic and glass recycle items. Only a short walk to the beach and 15 minutes to shopping center or sea terminal. A bowl and mat were provided for my dog. Traveling on my own, I felt safe there, because if you have a concern or question, it is addressed within the same day.

Excellent staff and service. Food was also excellent and staff went to great lengths to address allergies and were well aware of the options available. Staff at all levels very accommodating and receptive to the needs of guests. Would highly recommend.

The place was very easy to find,just past "Spar" if your coming from the ferry-side. My key was sitting there waiting for me on my arrival which i thought was a very practical and efficient way of doing things. I found my room to be better than expected and everything worked and was very cozy and CLEAN. The manager called up to confirm my breakfast time and she seemed very warm and welcoming. I was lucky to be able to engage with this lady again who i found out was from Hong Kong. while having breakfast the next morning and she was very helpful and so nice i almost didn't want to leave. You will be in good hands if you stay at the Caledonia,you'l have a really nice,informative,helpful Hong Kong host,a comfortable and reasonably priced stay in a really good location. Lovely cabin with everything I needed for a few days, the hosts communication was great and they were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend and stay again when I return to the IOM.
