This Bar Harbor motel is just 1 mile from the main entrance to Acadia National Park. Facilities include a seasonal outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi access, and free shuttle service to area attractions. The front desk was open at all times and the staff were all friendly and helpful all of the time. Breakfast was excellent and they constantly refreshed the food items as they were used up. They also provided cartons and paper bags for takeout. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with well kept grounds. It all ran like a well oiled machine. The pool was lovely after a day’s hiking and there were plenty of places to sit in the sun or under the trees to have a drink and a meal if you wanted to stay on the property. Of the five places we stayed during our trip through New England this was the clear winner.

Large and clean rooms. You can book lots of activities and offers like Arcadia NP, Tours etc directly at the counter.

We arrived late because of NYC traffic but we just called in to let them know ahead and we were still able to check in no problem. The cabin was very cozy and had everything you could need.

If you don't like American breakfast from chains hotels with frozen burgers and bagels and prefer fresh, healthy food, you will appreciate this. Awesome homemade pizza you can order in advance. Thanks the team for our stay! My son loved hens :)

I was pleasantly surprised! This old motel has been totally remodeled and the rooms are large and beautiful!! Everything is new, the beds so comfortable, quiet, great water pressure/shower, room for the dog to run around, amazing personally cooked breakfast, great couple run the place....it could not have been any better. I ever stayed an extra night!

It was nice that breakfast was included . The staff was super friendly and polite. All in all, I would give a 10 out of 10.
