The position is just perfect, being really in Downtown South Lake Tahoe. 50m from main street and 10' walking from Nevada border. The staff was very helpful and nice, suggesting places where I could have breakfast or dinner. I would definitely come back and stay again

To whom it concerns: we came to the Big Pines late at night tired and travel worn from a long day.. We were greeted by Iftee and his wife. Can't say enough about how professional both he and his wife were and how quickly we were accommodated to our room! Our stay at your motel was very pleasant and we can't say enough for Iftee and his wife who were kind enough to bring extra towels, and answer all are questions. Thank you, we will be back. Excellent location and really helpful staff - we had a rough morning with car trouble (burst tire). When the fridge in our room wasn’t working on arrival, we were upgraded to a wonderful suite. It was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The repairman helped us with our car and we had a comfortable stay. The desk staff were so helpful letting us use their landline phone to sort out a replacement car because we didn’t have American numbers. We Liked having a microwave and fridge in the room and the spa was lovely!

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. I am very grateful to their maintenance department for the assistance we received in removing a snow chain from one of my tires that had gotten jammed and wasn't comming off.

The price for the Travel Inn was equal or very similar to other hotels. However, if you read reviews with pictures, you'll see that those properties are very dirty and in need of serious renovation or remodel. The Travel Inn was clean and recently remodeled. I did not have any concerns while staying at the Travel Inn.
