We arrived during the afternoon, it was cold and heating had been switched on for us. It was great to get into a warm apartment with everything there ready to make a hot drink. Check-in was so easy and the off street parking a godsend; no need to look for a place to park. The apartment is clean and well equipped. There are shops and food places very nearby making it a very convenient location.

Set in Bretton, the cottage is set high on a ridge overlooking Eyam and Foolow. Both free WiFi and private parking are accessible at this property. Comfortable accommodation with fabulous views as up high on a ridge. Andrew the host was very friendly and the cooked breakfast was great. Room was spacious and clean with a good shower. Luxious towels and a huge bed which was comfortable. Very quiet. Would recommend the pub next door for evening meal. Adequate car parking space.

Natural beauty can be found close by in The Peak District National Park and in the traditional Yorkshire villages and countryside which surrounds Lyndene. The owner is very helpful and gave useful info about places around the town. Also as I came with my dog he gave her a sausage for breakfast!
