Located in Bowness-on-Windermere in the Cumbria region, The White House is a 5-star property featuring free WiFi. clean, comfortable, location, decor. Also loved the direct plug ins for phone charging on both sides of bed.

Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent!! Stars plus for breakfast 😊

With a picturesque location in Ambleside, Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa World Hotel Distinctive, BW Premier Collection features a modern spa and a brasserie. We liked everything, but mostly the staff service. Each of the staff members seemed to make our stay comfortable and happy by anticipating our needs and solving any little problem we had. The morning breakfast was excellent. The Hotel is situated in a quiet but lovely center, and the entrance is easy (we had some thought when booking because the picture on the website showed many steps leading to the entrance, but when we arrived, we realized that the entrance is on the side and very convenient). Unfortunately, we didn't have time to spend in the spa but we checked it and it seems excellent.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. The place is very quaint and I loved how each room is themed differently on explorers and nature. Also, loved the fact that we were welcomed to some warm mulled wine( it was freezing outside) Also, the breakfast is amazing !

Featuring 5-star accommodation, Craig's Suites is set in Windermere, 36 km from Derwentwater and 42 km from Askham Hall. the destination is in perfect. surrounded by bars and restaurants. the room itself is exactly what you need after a good hike the bathroom is massive with a bath that fits 2 people with ease. the bed is a superking and one of comfiest beds ive slept in. highly recommend i will back!
