Situated in Bodmin, 31 km from Newquay Train Station, Bodmin Jail Hotel features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Staff were outstanding, food was exceptional, room was awesome. I really had such a wonderful time here. And the bed was oh, so comfy. And i loved having the espresso machine in the bedroom. I will be returning in the future and staying for longer.

We hat a marvelous room with perfect bed and a nice view out to the sea. The area ist extremely remote and quiet. The restaurant serves good food with a variety of seafood. We liked our stay very much.

Trevor and Kristin are delightful hosts. we were plenty close enough to walk to the train and buses. we walked to Mousehole and back. the bed was comfortable. the bathroom was large and clean. we enjoyed treats and drinks in the lovely garden each evening. breakfast is superb! I tried just about everything on the menu. Trevor’s Greek yogurt and compote was delicious. the Hollandaise was perfect. best bacon we have had on our 14 days in the UK. gorgeous poached eggs. Great location for visiting Cornwall, a hearty breakfast that sets you up for the day until you're ready for a pasty. Andy and Lana have been so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Everything was quality….from the appearance, to the decor, to the bedding, to the food. A beautiful oasis in the country. Our host greeted us warmly at the door and we felt we could rely on him if we needed him at anytime in the country.
