I spent 4 nights in this lovely apartment with my family, on our way back home from a longer stay in the south of France. We had a great time! The place is comfortable and is decorated beautifully, Xavier either knows a great interior designer or is one himself :-). The apartment is located on the slope of a hill, giving you a gorgeous view on Lons-le-Saunier from the large balcony at the back of the apartment. Each day we made a trip (by car) to an interesting place in the area, such as: Les Planches-près-Arbois, Le Lac de Chalain, La Vallée du Hérisson, ...

Very nicely renovated old building. Easy access and parking. We've loved dinner on the terrace with the tasty local wine. The owner couple purchased, restored and operate this lovely hotel and spa. They are both welcoming, professional and a pleasure to speak with following returns from adventures each day. The rooms are incredibly spacious. We were concerned we would not have anything to do and see in such a small town. Well, we ran out of time. The Tour de France passed through one day. There are incredible waterfall hikes, beautiful drives in the area and a quaint town nearby. We drove 30 minutes one day for a lovely wine tour. In addition, MZ offered a lovely breakfast with freshly squeezed OJ, wonderful coffee and freshly made pastries for 15 Euro. One of our favorite things at MZ was dinner. It offered one seating per night for all guests and a surprise four-course menu. We enjoyed dinner immensely two times. This place is romantic and also excellent for business meetings since it offers many tucked-away areas.

The location the pool and the rooms were spectacular such a lovely property. They provided everything for our 5 month old, a baby bath changing mat the staff were so friendly it was amazing.

The proprietors did an excellent job of renovating the classic building. Very spacious. Very close to center of town. The proprietors were also very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
