Terletak di taman seluas 6 hektar, hanya 5 menit berkendara dari pantai, Château Hôtel Du Colombier dibangun pada abad ke-18 dan menggabungkan pesona sejarah dengan kenyamanan modern. This was one of the nicest breaks we have ever had. The bedroom/lounge suite was exquisite & so spacious with French windows, balcony with a view of the gardens & lake. Nicolas, our host, was wonderful & it helps that his English is so good. He drove us into St Malo several times (free of charge). The breakfast was excellent, as was the dinner we enjoyed on our last evening.

Hôtel Oré, Saint-Malo is located at the entrance to Saint-Malo, near the aquarium. The hotel offers family rooms with baths or showers, flat-screen TVs and free WiFi access. Rooms were spacious, clean, new. Breakfast was simple but fulfilling. Staff were friendly and helpful. The sauna and jacuzzi was good, helped us relax after a long drive.

Cocoon gave us contact details for the person meeting us on the day. We thought this was an excellent idea and we contacted Florian (our named contact) on the day to coordinate arrival times which worked really well. This made us feel a bit more secure as travelling from the UK. Beds were very comfortable and the view was amazing at all times of the day. Balcony was great for a pre-dinner drink. Plenty of room with 2 showers and very bright and welcoming when we returned from a day out. We also appreciated the delicious local produce supplied.
