El elegante Ruths Hotel está situado en primera línea de playa, a 5 km del centro urbano de Skagen. This is a pricey place, by British (collapsing nation) standards. It is an extremely comfortable (yet not "luxurious") place; but it really delivers. The staff are fantastic. Mesmerising in their professionalism, friendliness and efficiency. There are cosy places to sit downstairs. The food is fabulous, the setting wonderful, the general "vibe" is uniquely accessible to all. The room was delightful; very comfortable without being ostentatious. All of it is immaculately clean and well (but discreetly) serviced. If I could, I would stay here every year.
