The almost new apartment is located on the outskirts of the city, at the end of a small cul-de-sac, in a quiet environment, so a peaceful rest is guaranteed. You can park in front of the house for free and safely. The entire apartment is air-conditioned, the air conditioners work perfectly without any smell. Mosquito nets, blackout curtains and blinds are installed on the external windows. The beds are hard and comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, any kind of food can be prepared. All tools are provided for cleaning the kitchen and the apartment. The bathroom meets all hygiene requirements, the washing machine is flawless. There was no problem with the water pressure and water temperature either. The apartment has a large terrace, which is also suitable for meals. The very kind owners welcome the guests with prepared fruit, cake, water and homemade liqueur. Communication went smoothly, we received all the support we needed. I didn't measure the bandwidth, but what we wanted to watch on the Internet was loaded quickly and smoothly via Wi-Fi So far we have had about 50 bookings on booking.com, but Matoulas Luxury Apartment is definitely in the top three.

Beach towels are also available on a daily basis. A bottle of wine, chocolate bars and radish will welcome you in the room. You can also count on a light breakfast in your room every day (toast bread, butter, jam and honey). Cleanliness is at the highest level. The location is excellent, right in the center, a 10-minute walk to Arvanitia beach. The hosts are extremely friendly and at your service. When we visit Nafplio again we will definitely choose this accommodation.

The property is located 3 to 5 minute drive from downtown Nafplio. We chose it because it has a pool, parking and a kitchenette. It is exceptionally clean, bright and modern. The bed was comfortable. Stavros and the other members of staff were very friendly, helpful and anticipated our needs. They provided ample supplies of tea, coffee, water and a delicious loaf of lemon cake every day! Towels were changed daily and the sheets every second day. The wifi was fast. The pool was clean and the view of Palamidi castle was lovely. I have no hesitation in recommending this venue if you wish to stay just a short distance out of the downtown where it is quieter and there is more space. And a pool!

A delightful small pension right in the heart of Nafplio, but in a quiet street away from noisy bars, but still only a stone's throw away from a couple of lovely tavernas. The pension faces a small church, famous for being the place that Kapodistrias, Greece's first head of state, was assassinated in 1831. The room I stayed in was on the top floor in the eves, and cleverly converted to make a surprisingly spacious room with a lovely small balcony with a great view over Nafplio. It is equipped with a very comfortable bed, a shower which works properly, and a small fridge (I didn't test the air conditioning as it was October and it was not needed) The owner was extremely nice and helpful, carrying my bags up to my room (be warned that the stairs are narrow and quite steep with no lift), providing useful information about the town. Nafplio itself is a delightful town with many good shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, and a very good opportunity to get some exercise by climbing the supposedly 999 steps up to the top of the Palamides Fort (it seems to be actually over 1000).

We absolutely loved staying at this property, it was clean and very well presented. When sitting on the balcony, you had a wonderful view up to the Palamidi Fortress and I spent quite a lot of time just looking at it. The apartment is suitably based, well within walking distance of the old town and the harbour area. Our host Kiki was only too happy to help us out and communication with her was excellent. At one point Kiki messaged us to make sure we had hot water as it had been overcast for a couple of days and the water is normally heated by solar panel. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone.
