To stay in Avaton hotel was the best decision. Literally each of the staff members are extremely friendly and helpful, the manager of the hotel Agniezska was already on the first day more like a friend to us. They do all great job running this hotel. And I would recommend it 100 %. The hotel is very nice for older generation and couples, however I was with a friend and we also had a good time there. They serve very nice dinner in the hotel restaurant, breakfast has many options, rooms are clean and come with balconies, sun beds next to the pool are also great. There are also pretty mountain views from the pool area. It s 10 min walk to the old town, 5 to the beach, bus stop is also right in front, the location was great, close to everything, but away from all the rush.

Great location with a lovely garden right by the beach ! In the evening you can walk to the old port trough lovely narrow streets in about 10 minutes. We can really recommend a stay at this brand new place !

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The combination of excellent service and buffet choice worked brilliantly. We all enjoyed a variety of choices across the week from omelette to pancakes with Nutella and gorgeous fresh fruit. Staff in the hotel were extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Alex in particular was both helpful and deficient.

If you’re considering booking Villa Serenity, do it! You will not regret it. We had such a wonderful stay and the villa was everything we hoped and more - it’s even better than the pictures. The outside pool area is gorgeous and inside is big, comfortable and practical - there were six adults and two children in our party and it worked perfectly. It was also cleaned daily, which was amazing. We’ve been coming to Greece for years and this was the best accommodation we’ve ever had. The location was perfect - a short stroll to the beach with lots of tavernas really close by. Skiathos is a beautiful island and Villa Serenity was a perfect base for us. But the thing that really makes Villa Serenity special, above all else, is the owner, Ira. Her communication even before we flew out was brilliant. It was our first time travelling with two kids and I asked her so many questions about what we would and wouldn’t need. When we arrived, Ira had ensured the villa was equipped with a cot, pram, bed rail, baby monitor, bath… the list goes on! Everything about the villa was so child friendly. When a member of our party needed medical attention, Ira was such a reassuring presence. She helped us translate what the medics were saying, made phone calls for us and checked in on us. She really went above and beyond and we are so thankful to her for being such a kind, reassuring presence at a worrying time. Thank you Ira, and all at Villa Serenity, for a fantastic stay.

The location is fantastic, just a stone throws away from the beach, port and all the main streets but just slightly out of the way to avoid noise. Fantastic breakfast, great lunch menus, great bar and pool. A Med-Moderne style, spotlessly clean hotel. What really stands out however, from any hotel stay we have had in the last few years, is the service. It's beyond service, it's hospitality. From the front desk to the cleaning staff, we have never experienced such balanced welcoming and care. Impeccable. The front desk is you local friend and guide and will sort out anything you could think of on the the island, from booking umbrellas on the beach to boat hires to restaurant and tavern reservations, you name it. They also provide clean beach towels daily. A car is a must to make the most of the island but beware the streets in Skiathos town are a bit small and it's largely one-way system. The hotel has a parking area situated about a 3 min walk away, which also provides easy access to the main roads that take you around the island, port and airport.
