Really nice place for a stay, short walk to the beach. We stayed with our toddler and baby, and the place was perfectly equipped with everything we needed (high chair, travel cot and mattress, booster seat, etc). Good communication before arrival to make sure the trip went smoothly.

Loved the friendly owners and the quiet low season getaway. The layout and lounge felt like home away from home. The fresh eggs from onsite chickens are a nice bonus.

Everything was amazing. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff outstanding. It’s a shame the management couldn't respect and appreciate those people and sold the hotel.

Room was clean and quiet with a comfy bed Great quirky character - like Faulty Towers (although the statue in the lobby is scary) Staff are really friendly and helpful (especially the lady in the dining room) Food adequate for the price - not michelin star quality but cheap and fills you up

Beautiful Victorian property that has been restored to a high standard - the place was immaculate. The breakfast was superb using quality ingredients including eggs from the owners' own chickens. Fabulous secure facilities for cyclists and motorcyclists alike.

Celebrated our 60th (Diamond) wedding Anniversary at the Royal Pier, Every thing was A1, could not have wished for a better place to spend this special day in lifes calendar, special mention to staff (Manager) Alex, Maria, Sharner, Joan, Julie including ALL STAFF, always friendly, and helpful. Special Mention The Chef, and his lovely home made cooking. Hotel a little tired, but expected in this very old building steeped in History of Princess Beatrice before coming to the throne as Queen Victoria. God Willing we will return.
