The house was in a peaceful countryside location and perfect for our visits to various National Trust and other properties. It was very well equipped and comfortable. Our hostess Marion is a lovely lady and couldn't have been more helpful. We would certainly return here if we wanted accommodation in the future. Full marks!

A quirky way to spend a lovely evening, beautifully decorated, relaxing by the fire pit at night, short walk to local pub, not far from Bewl water where we spent the day in the sunshine. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

We wait until we find a deal (often between Christmas and New Year hotels do cheaper deals) the rooms are spacious, dressing gowns, coffee that isn't boring instant but coffee bags which, as a coffee drinker I enjoy. I always use the Spa for a treatment. This time I had Abbie who was lovely and did a really good luxury pedicure. The hut was very comfortable and cosy. It will be my go-to place when I go south to visit my family. Nice staff who could not be more kind and more helpful. Very good breakfast, loved the caffetière coffee and the prompt service. The room was huge, clean and airy, but dated, anyway this adds to the charm as the hotel is old. Strong wifi and smart tv, we watched Netflix just like home. 5 stars for the price and quality.

From the friendly welcome at reception to the staff in the dining room both in the evening and at breakfast. Although three out of the four evening meals were good, the grilled chicken was disappointing and dry. However, the breakfast was superb. Everything you could possibly want and if good quality. The hot breakfasts were cooked to order rather than being part of the buffet which was a definite plus.
