Clean, tidy and beautiful attention to detail. The colour coordination, the furniture arrangement. I couldn’t help but fall in love with this property the second I entered it. The welcome basket was absolutely quaint and full of amazing treats including scones, jam, biscuits, and teabags. A couple of helpful magazines were dotted around the living space, and in the bedroom, two lindt chocolates placed upon the cushions. An absolutely pleasant stay, with two double doors onto the private patio and a short walk to Carbis Bay beach.

Friendly hosts - polite, informative, friendly. Great breakfasts - excellent and top notch breakfast (freshly cooked with a cheeky smoothie shot). Hotel and room very clean. Stunning view. We enjoyed staying at Thurlestone House very much indeed for the 10 nights we were there. John and Linda could not have made us more welcome and were a fountain of knowledge both on the local area and wider Cornwall so were always willing to help with travel advice and where to go and what to see. The room was very comfortable, quiet and a nice size for the two of us. Breakfasts were very good indeed with a wide choice and always served with a smile. We would have no hesitation in staying at Thurlestone House again when next in the St Ives area.
