The Courthouse, luksushotell i Betws-y-coed

Nestled in a peaceful riverside location in Betws-y-Coed, in the Snowdonia National Park, The Courthouse provides bed and breakfast accommodation, free WiFi and free parking.

We booked a Superior room (I have to say I did not realise it myself during booking), which was a bit pricier than what I am normally used to, but it was worth every penny. Richard is a great host, helpful but not intrusive. He gave us a couple of good tips: for example, when we asked about a place for a wild swim, he advised us Llyn Parc nearby, which was exactly the spot we were looking for. His handbook available in the room contained a lot of useful information as well. The room was very spacious, thoughtfully decorated and spotlessly clean with a great view to the garden and the river Conwy. The building itself and the general area of Betws-y-Coed are very scenic. There were several breakfast options on offer and they were all very tasty. For me, the quality of the mushrooms and the baked beans stood out - somehow they were tastier than at any other place I've visited in the UK. I also liked the porridge a lot.

The hosts were absolutely phenomenal and genuinely the best people I've ever met. I cannot wait to go back.

Overlooking Betws-Y-Coed, this family run Bed and Breakfast is just 30 minutes' drive from Snowdon Mountain in Snowdonia National Park.

This couple did so many special things. Pippa picked me up at the train station when I arrived further away than I planned( - to walk there from a closer station - )due to late trains and a terrible travel day.. They provided breakfasts with vegan and vegetarian options such as homemade vegan sausage and scrambled tofu if desired, and did I say delicious breakfasts! They helped me get to an early tour on time, they provided recommendations of restaurants and activities etc. Great room with great view. Pretty gardens. Just kind good thoughtful people.
