As our second visit must speak for itself, we just love the set up. Only 15-20 mins from the Kruger park entrance. The local town offer all we need from fuel to food and take-a-ways too. The hosts and staff are so friendly offering to help if we need something extra, They also have pool and lovely reception area that doubles up as communal area come breakfast if you ask. We will be back.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge in the Greater Kruger area in South Africa, and it was, without a doubt, one of the most remarkable experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the lodge and its surroundings. The lodge perfectly blends luxury and nature, offering an authentic yet comfortable safari experience. Accommodation: The rooms were beautifully appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Waking up to the sounds of nature and the sight of the stunning landscape right from our window was a daily delight. Staff: The staff at Milima Big 5 went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. They were attentive, friendly, and always available to assist with anything we needed. Food: The culinary experience was a highlight in itself. Each meal was a delightful adventure, with a variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. The quality and presentation of the food were exceptional, adding to the overall luxury of our stay. Wildlife Experience: The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the wildlife. Guided by our fantastic guide, Sydney, we embarked on thrilling game drives, witnessing an abundance of animals in their natural habitat. Sydney's knowledge and passion for wildlife enriched our experience, making each sighting more special. Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge is more than just a place to stay; it's a gateway to a magical and unforgettable safari adventure. We left with hearts full of joy and memories that will last a lifetime. Offering mountain views, African Flair Boutique Safari Lodge in Hoedspruit offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. Everything about African Flair is just out of this world, the moment you enter with such a great welcome from outside drinks already waiting for us. I love the way they designed the structure of the Lodge and dressing it so elegantly with all these amazing African decors, and the fact that you don’t even need to bring your book as they’re just everywhere to immerse yourself whether African culture, diversity, safari or animals etc… The list goes on. I should warn you though, the moment you enter your private room, my god! They definitely don’t make it easy for guest to go anywhere, you literally have everything you need and that kind of comfort is heaven on earth true paradise for couples whether on Honey moon or vacation. Worth every dime which is also affordable. Wait till they open up the other room upstairs for you to sleep in the tranquility of watching the stars ✨ as they’re clearly visible there with distraction of City lights. Perfect breakfast and mini bar fridge that is packed with everything and anything you feel like at your comfort space. My husband is from South Africa and we both live in Dubai, even he said he was in Hoedspruit before but never saw anything like that. We thankful for services and will definitely come back next time with more time at our hand.

With garden views, Oase by 7 Star Lodges - Greater Kruger Private 530ha Reserve is located in Hoedspruit and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Amazing property, big room with private pool and service 24/7. They took us to a big five property to do safari one day and in the other we booked a full-day Kruger safari with them. Both were great, recommend it for everyone.

Featuring mountain views, Isambane Camp in Balule Game Reserve features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. I stayed for 6 nights and every single day was special! I was looking for something small, private and isolated in contrast to the typical "see the big 5 plans" in order to enjoy what the bush has to offer, and my expectations were absolutely exceeded. The staff is simply amazing. Ed and Ivone are amazing hosts! Ed is an amazing guide and apart from knowing everything about the bush, he really knows how to transfer his knowledge to his guests in a very passionate and genuine way. Ivone is very friendly, helpful and she always wanted to make sure that we were having a good time while we were in the camp. Sibu and Eunita were very sweet and they cooked delicious meals for us! Our last game drive was carried out with Tim who was also very knowledgeable and friendly :) The camp is beautiful and the way it is built respect the environment where is located; somehow open and mainly made of wood. During our game drives we were fortunate to see a lot of game and Ed gave us amazing explanations from a wide range of subjects, apart from sharing his personal experience from his time in the bush, which I really appreciated.

Situated 7 km from Drakensig Golf Club, Ujabule Lodge offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. Everything was great, beautiful lodge and perfectly clean room and comfortable bed. Liezel and Willie were so kind and when I couldn't get a ride they even drove me to town! I recommend staying longer as there is so much to do in Hoedspruit. Try the Thirsty Giraffe.

Providing garden views, Tshukudiba Game Lodge in Tom Burke provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The place was immaculate and well maintained. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. The shared kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. Whilst we only did a quick stop over before crossing border into Botswana the next morning, I could definitely do an extra night or two to explore the place more next time.

With garden views, Lira Boutique Lodge is located in Thohoyandou and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The place is so beautiful and their service is great... The food is also nice and everyone is very nice. Willing to help at all times❤️ Will definitely come back❤️

Providing garden views, Leopard's Lair Bush Lodge in Hoedspruit provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The room with the spa is by far the best and most outstanding. We were lucky enough to get it for one night in our stay and will certainly spring for it next time. The property manager was quick to help us with any issues or planning logistics. Staff, especially Amu were so sweet and nice to be around and helpful. It was a great place to stay and for great value. We would spend a week here if we could!

With bush views, The Wild Blue Lodge SAFARI & SPA is set in the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, outdoor pool, and terrace. The setting was spectacular. It is out of the way and a bit difficult to find if self-driving. However, once there, the drive is worth the effort. Wild open area. Friendly staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Room large and charming with comfortable bed.
