With Sesriem Canyon reachable in 34 km, Namib Outpost features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge.

There was nothing not to like starting from heart-warming reception, and throughout our stay during which we were the only couple in the property, who were kindly assisted by some 20 staff members. This was just our luck to visit the place on weekdays and during lower season, thus we had an absolute privacy. Only us and nature! The chalets, restaurant, viewing terraces, and the pools areas were spotlessly clean, well designed, and professionally served. Great experience!

Utility boxes with most utensils needed are available at reception and fresh food supplies can be ordered daily. Meals are available for a surcharge at a neighboring lodge, 5 km from Desert Quiver Camp.

Close proximity to park gate. Very scenic pool area that conveniently had a bar with strong internet signal. Cabins had spacious interior with very comfortable bed and great shower and double sink area and ceiling fan. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, especially when I lost my phone and they found it for me. We ate dinner both nights at Sossusvlei buffet (their sister property). I am a vegetarian and it was spectacular but we could have also cooked and eaten on our porch and enjoyed the view. We entered the park as soon as it opened and enjoyed spectacular photos while the sun was still rising and before the crowds arrived. We considered staying at a lodge inside the park gates but are glad we chose Desert Quiver.

Excellent location, lovely food, luxury tents although there was a lot of noise during the night because there was a sandstorm during out stay (lots of wind). Very friendly staff and great setting, lovely desert views, would definitely stay again!

We stayed at 6 different lodges and my family liked this lodge the best. Great experience to see Rhinos, zebras, wildebeest while sitting at the balcony. Very well maintained and the best place to see the stars. Cannot be missed.

Beautiful location and very nice lodges. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Especially our guide Lucas was great, he knew a lot about history Namibia and about life in the desert, for example he found a very small hole in the sand and that seemed to be a white spider house. Also his lunches and sundowner were very special. We will remember this as "Lucas's restaurant". We can recommend this lodge 100%.

Outstanding location, we arrived in a huge place, sculptures welded from srap metal, old cars and exciting things all over the place. From our lodge, we couldn't see the other lodges, lovely rooms, fantastic dinner in a playful room with hundreds of little oldtimers, some quiver trees on the site, Nice owners, He loves rusty metals. And absolutely dark at night. I shot my best photos of the Milky Way at Tsauchab River Camp. We stayed 3 nights.

Very nice and quiet lodge in the middle of the desert, yet not that far away from the main road and Sossusvlei/Deadvlei that it was a pain to get there. The lodge has a lovely staff that took care of us in an excellent way. Also the day tour they provide is very much worth it. They provide spacious, clean lodges with warm showers. Also the food was great.
