long walk, bring a couple of big bottles of water. entering from the south end its a "shorter" walk to the top but you miss a lot of other spots to see, there is also an elevator that can take people that require it to the top

It's fabulous, but crowded -- try and pick a time when the crowds are less. The climb up is steep, so be prepared (it was May when I was there and warm). The only downside is the stupid selfie takers who barely look around at the wonderful buildings, site, and view. They spoil it for others when then can. Life is more than a camera bucket list ;-)

There used to be a lift in the building giving access to all floors. The apartment is very comfortable with a wonderful bed and a nice sitting area. The bathroom is good with a strong shower and plenty f hot water. The view from the room is amazing you look straight at the Parthenon from the window and at night you can lay in bed and see the Acropolis, wonderfull.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast on the roof level was very good with a variety of foods and a very nice view that includes the Parthenon. The waitstaff was very good. The HVAC system in the room worked well and was quiet. Overall value for the room was good. Ww will stay at the Royal Olympic again during our next visit to Athens.GeorgeUnited States
