The history in this place is amazing, but we did not find any guides or tours here, so we wished we might have read or watched a program to learn more about it before visiting. It has a lot of dark spiral staircases, which were a bit spooky for our 7 year old and would very much reduce what you could see if you have difficulty with stairs or heights. It was dry when we were there, but rain might make it more difficult too. That said, the views were great. You can see a long way over the water from the castle. There are some displays inside about the various moncharchs that have lived there and about the investiture of the Prince of Wales. You can stand on the same balcony that Prince Charles was on after he became Prince of Wales.

Angelsey Arms pub and parking is directly opposite the castle, with seating area right next to the sea and a lovely view. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room which was just around the corner. Breakfast was brilliant and kind staff filled up our water and put them in the freezer for us while we went to Caernarfon Castle (a must for all). Was able to keep car parked for longer than checkout which was a huge help so we could see the area. Wish we stayed longer.

The Bunkhouse is located very close to Caernarfon Castle and the Menai, around a 1 minute walk until I was at the waterfront. The bed, as well as the furniture in the seating area downstairs is comfortable.

The location was great, 20 minutes from snowdon, 2 miles from Caernarfon castle, 10 minutes from a beautiful beach and very picturesque and remote. The hosts are keen to show you the workings of their dairy farm which the children loved. The view from the cottage at sunset-wow

The location was the best we could ask for: in Castle Square, few meters from the Caernarfon castle, the old city centre and the sea. The staff has been kind and helpful all the time. The small room spaces were nicely organized and decorated giving a homely feeling that we appreciated. We were generally satisfied with the cleanliness of both the room and the ensuite bathroom, even though the room felt a bit dusty. The stay in this hotel was anyway really worthy the (not too high) price.
