The staff were so friendly and seemed to like their jobs. The breakfast and buffet dinner were exceptional. You couldn't say there wasn't something you would eat.

Upon arriving at the room in the afternoon, I was initially concerned about the noise due to the guest house's location on a busy street. However, the room had double-layered windows—glass and wood. Once I closed both, the room became quiet, allowing me to sleep well at night. I contacted the house owner via WhatsApp, and they were very responsive.

Lost inn was perfect introduction to hostels. It smelt amazing, was for the most part very clean. Free sangria was great for socialising. We loved it

Great location, clean, well equipped, great staff. Appreciated having a driver arranged to pick us up at the bus station to take us directly to the unit, for only 10 euros. Vegetarian restaurant about 3 doors away, but we didn't discover it until after dinner on the last night of our stay!

The owner was really friendly and lives nearby, used to be his family home and now it’s this pension. They left us a bottle of water in the room which was really kind. It’s a really quiet area, but not far from the town

Guest House Triunfo is a short walk from Sao Bento station and serves as a convenient base for exploring Porto and also heading out on day trips to the Douro valley from Sao Bento station. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, including helping us book an early morning taxi to the airport. The room was nicely decorated and cosy to hang out in when resting from a day's sightseeing. All in all we had a lovely stay at Guest House Triunfo.

Outstanding customer and concierge service - days before arrival, Roger, one of the concierge staff, contacted me, asked for my preferences and interests, suggested and arranged dinner reservations and private tour ideas. Outstanding. Would absolutely recommend.

Cozy little apartment on the other side of the river which provides an excellent night’s sleep far from the noisy Porto night life but just 8 minutes walking from the the Ribeiro do Porto. It’s perfect for a couple’s getaway and has everything you need for a short stay, also the shower was a pleasant surprise with ambient light and music. Innkeeper was a great host always replying within minutes and helping with every question I had and giving helpful suggestions

Lovely room with a wooden bath made to look like the bottom of an enormous wine barrel. Great location. Historic inner hotel wall from the original city walls. The best restaurant in Lamego is at the hotel
