Wonderful host, charming knowledgeable always ready for conversation, informed us of everything around, always there to help with all requests, superb food, top quality restaurant, beautiful peaceful location. The room was basic but clean and pleasant. Right next to the beautiful we’ll presented castle, absolutely worth a visit.

Situated in Monção, within 40 km of Nossa Senhora da Peneda Sanctuary and 47 km of Ria de Vigo Golf, Casa 42 provides free WiFi throughout the property. Casa 42 is located in the historic centre of Monção. The concierge / owner is very friendly and attentive. Casa 42 provides clean and functional accommodation for a very fair price. Our room was very quiet, beds were cozy, shower with excellent water pressure. Highly recommended if you want to experience this vibrant and charming border town at the river Minho.
