It was cosy, clean and freshly decorated (in our room, the corridors are clearly undergoing renovation) and the shower was super powerful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was great and nicely presented, and we loved how we could nip down to dinner in the evening and back up to bed. Couldn't have asked for more really! I'd recommend!

The breakfast was excellent and the property is close to Hest Bank inn which does lovely meals and is a short but pleasent walk nearby.

The rooms are clean and neat with extras like a hairdryer and hangers included. The bar/restaurant was busy but never noisy. Breakfast was wonderful and portions are large.
