The staff were amazing, particularly Octavian. We were on honeymoon and they went above and beyond to give us an enjoyable stay. The room was immaculate and the food was delicious. Couldn't fault it. Wish we lived closer to visit more often!

There's a lot to like! The room is very nearly perfect in size, comfort, amenities, and function. The space was very comfortable and easily large enough for two people and their luggage. The shower/toilette was super functional and very comfortable with special attention paid to the available soaps and bath robes. The coffee/tea included multiple options, crisps, cookies, and shortbreads. Additionally, the pub and available foods were perfect for an historic English pub experience.

Gorgeous location, staff all very friendly. Would def come back and stay for more than one night. The breakfast was the best breakfast that we’ve had in a veryyyyy long time. The chef and the guy who serviced us this morning were absolutely brilliant, very knowledgeable we could have sat and spoke to him all day. Highly recommend.

Lovely bathroom with powerful (overbath) shower. Big fluffy towels. And a fantastic view from the wide window across Darley Dale. Excellent selection of beers at the bar and equally good choice on the menu for dinner. Sadly, my early departure each day meant that I could not 'test' the breakfasts - but cannot imagine it being anything other than good too.

Location of the hotel was excellent and all of Harrogate's attractions could be reached on foot. Breakfast on the top floor was impressive - both food and views and dinner in the evening was lovely in the popular dining room. Private Parking infront of the hotel was a great bonus.

We had a really lovely evening by the large rustic open fire, enjoying a delicious meal with excellent wine. All the staff were very friendly and professional. We had stayed once before in order to break our journey to London. We did this yet again. The Inn is set within the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and it was a pleasure to drive there from Scotland.
