This impressive national monument, commissioned by Sybrand Heerma van Voss and dating back to 1895, is built in the Neo-Renaissance style and exudes majestic grandeur. The house itself is an architectural masterpiece, characterized by its unique style, striking tower, and carefully selected materials. With its elegant fencing, it transports you back to a time when the sugar industry brought prosperity to the region. Within the monument, there are 3 stylishly furnished B&B rooms: - The rooms with a bath have an en suite bathroom and are equipped with a shower, bathtub, and toilet. - The room without a bath has a sink in the room and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet located at the end of the hallway The breakfast buffet is served in the dining room overlooking the expansive garden of the national monument. In this space, there is also an "honesty fridge" stocked with various cold beverages. A private terrace with ample seating and views of the chicken ladies is available in the garden.
